About the role

 

Responsibilities


• Set and manage ethical policies.

• Develop programs that prevent breaches of the law, and put them into practice.

• Give specialist legal advice.

• Handle litigation and judicial matters.

• Prepare and finalize the minutes of ordinary and extraordinary general meetings.

• Handle company registration matters.

• Handle trademark registration matters.

• Prepare the documents and supporting paperwork for tenders and auctions.

• Keep and protect legal documents, records, and case files.

• Build a legal and regulatory information database for companies.

• Pass on legal updates for the activity areas of the bodies concerned.

• Plan, organize, prioritize, and carry out the legal research needed.

• Organize specialist legal training for legal experts, and take the steps needed to train legal staff.

• Send advisory opinions to the different units on legal and contract matters.

• Collect and review signed contracts for compliance with the relevant instructions, laws, and regulations.

• Collect, review, and organize the information needed to draft laws, articles of association, bylaws, and instructions.

• Prepare analytical reports on the unit's activities for the manager above the unit.

• Draft and approve the contracts the units need, and answer the inquiries that come with them.

• Handle the legal work behind tenders, auctions, and contracts.

• Obtain and review enforceable instruments tied to obligations and contracts, and take the steps needed on them.

• Collect the amounts owed under obligations and contracts.

• Prepare uniform standard-form contracts, and get financial and legal sign-off from the experts concerned.

• Review the contracts sent in by the units, give expert opinions on them, and check that the proposed contracts meet the legal and financial standards.
